Welcome to Mount Vernon ARMA's new website! The Mount Vernon chapter
now joins the growing list of ARMA chapters having a presence on the
Worldwide Web. I hope it will serve the records and information
management community of the northwest corner of Washington State as a
central clearinghouse for professional news and information and
contacts. In addition, I hope it will help bring the chapter to the
attention of those of you working in records management who might not
be aware of ARMA.
This website currently has the following sections:
- The Newsletter pages will issues of Tidings, the Mount Vernon
chapter newsletter.
- The Calendar of Events page lists meeting dates as well as
speakers, topics and meeting locations. The board is still in the
process of filling in the details regarding the chapter meeting
schedule, but the information will be posted as soon as it becomes
available.
- The Board Members page lists chapter officers, with contact
information.
- Finally, the Announcements page, which you are reading, will post
announcements relating to the chapter, or topics of interest to
records managers in general.
I will soon be adding a Links page, with links to other ARMA chapters and records management resources. Your suggestions for page topics, announcements and suggestions for
improvement are welcome.
